Terms of Service

1. The service

Free Website Idaho builds custom websites for qualifying Idaho businesses. The build is free. Hosting is $29/month, billed via Stripe autopay.

2. What's included

A custom Astro site, Cloudflare hosting, basic setup (Analytics, Search Console, email forwarding). Delivered in approximately 2 weeks.

3. What's not included

Ongoing content updates beyond minor fixes, e-commerce functionality, custom web apps, or anything requiring regular logins and maintenance. Those get quoted separately.

4. Your stuff

You own your domain. You own your content. After 12 months of hosting, you own the code too. We don't hold anything hostage.

5. Our stuff

We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. "We thought your business was cool" is a real criterion and so is "we didn't."

6. Payment

Hosting is $29/month via Stripe autopay. If payment fails and isn't resolved within 14 days, the site goes offline. We'll email you first. We're not monsters.

7. Cancellation

Cancel anytime. No fees, no guilt trip. Before 12 months, you won't have the source code yet — but your site stays up as long as you're paying.

8. Liability

We build fast, reliable sites on excellent infrastructure. But we're not responsible for your business outcomes, third-party service outages (Cloudflare, Google, etc.), or anything outside our direct control.

9. Changes

We might update these terms. If something material changes, we'll let hosting clients know via email.
